Collective Enterprise Management Training for VTDC Members of Cheryala &Pembarthi

Tharuni. conducted Collective Enterprise Management for the Village Tourism Development Committee Members and Artisans of Rural Tourism Projects of Cheryala and Pembarthi on 8th and 9th March 2014 at A.P. Forest Academy, Dullapally, Near Kompally, Hyderabad..
Dr. P. Hemalatha Devi ,Director Tharuni, presiding over the Training Programme, explained about the role of Tharuni, in the development of Rural Tourism Project in both the villages, for the last two years.Dr. Mamatha , Member, Advisory Board Tharuni, got the Participant Artisans introduced themselves about their handicrafts,and their Arts and then involved them into the objectives of this Training Programme. Sri P. Raghuveer, Chief Guest for the session  and  Director Forest Academy,stated about the importance of the skills necessary to market their products. Sri  Anil, Consultant, Tourism, explained the scenario of Rural Enterprises in India. A video Film was shown to learn how to make the enterprise more attractive to the Tourists.
After Lunch break at 2 P.M The Artisans visited the Rural Technologies Park, NIRD, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, followed by City tour.
On 9th, Sunday , the following Resource Persons enlightened the Artisans on different skills--:
1.Sri Uday shankar, Director, MSME----Finances for Enterprises
2.Sri Srinivas Raghu, APITCO-------Collective Management
3.Ms.Surekha, Director, EPITOME---Techniques to attract Tourists
4.Sri Surya Prakash goud, NISIET---Enterprise Management Techniques.

Tourist Spot at Cheryala in Warangal District

Cheryala in Warangal District, near Jangoan is going to become a Tourist spot in near future with all amenities like Restaurants, cottages,shopping complex,in addition to the Work sheds for the Painters, The Executive Director of Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation B. Srinivas announced, when he visited Cheryala  on 12th October 2011.R. K. Anil Consultant for Rural Tourism Projects also accompanied the Director, to address the Artisans. They went through the process of the paintings of Cheryala.Sri. Srinivas explained to the painters  the objectives of the Project undertaken at Cheryala,which will not only gives a facelift to the paintings, the Artisans   will also  be trained in new designs,marketing and enterprising skills.The local youth will get employment as service providers and guides and other jobs. R.K. Anil had given guidelines to the N.G.O Tharuni about implementation and importance of the Project.Dr. Mamatha, Executive Director,Tharuni presided the Meeting for the Artisans.An Office of Tharuni was established, with Ailesh Yadav, to coordinate the Project activities,on 23rd, October.
